Our Journey to Live in Good Faith

Our Story & Mission

We’ve always been fiercely grounded in our faith. Our individual journeys looked different, but they began to follow a similar path with a shared desire to nourish our spirit, mind, and body, to change the food industry for the better to love ourselves and others, and to be good stewards of the resources which God has entrusted us. We wanted to Live in Good Faith.


We’ve both always loved sweets but didn’t love the way they made us feel. The processed ingredients and engineered flavors didn’t align with our mission to live in good faith. So, we set out to create our own truly better-for-you treats. We researched alternatives to traditional harmful ingredients, and spent our nights and weekends crafting recipes, baking, and taste testing. We shared our treats with our families and friends – and soon realized these were too good to keep to ourselves.


That’s when our personal passion turned into a professional pursuit. We put our years of industry experience to use, sourcing sustainable ingredients from around the world, and developing partnerships with suppliers and small farmers to ensure our products could be made with the highest quality, healthiest, and most sustainable ingredients.

  • Meet Eileen

    (we call her "Little Food")

    Eileen grew up loving to cook and bake with her family – with a soft spot for chocolate. Cookies, brownies, cakes, breads…you name it, she baked it.

    Amidst many challenges and changes In Eileen’s teenage years, she began restricting food as a way to cope. Over time, this evolved into deeply disordered eating habits. As a way to begin healing from disordered eating, Eileen began cooking and baking again. This time with a keen eye to how specific ingredients made her feel (candy bars are fantastic, but not at the expense of being lethargic and bloated).

    With this came weekends and evenings of researching and baking – and a true love and understanding of healthier substitutes like coconut cream, avocado oil, and unrefined coconut sugar. Our In Good Faith recipes are hers, the ones she dreamed up in her kitchen. And we’re so excited to share them with you.

  • Meet Sam

    (we call him "NOT Big Food")

    Sam's early carrer was in “big food” where he gained an appreciation for the importance of taste and flavor, as well as streamlined operations and robust supply chains.

    In 2014, he began to refocus on his faith and a purpose-driven life. In the shift, he realized the race to profitability and the use of highly processed ingredients in the modern food system were contributing to a lot of unhealthy lifestyles – including his own.

    As Sam continued to change his lifestyle, eating more nutrient-rich and wholesome foods, he developed a strong passion for bringing positive change to the food system and helping others understand the importance of eating healthy, real foods to nourish their Spirit, Mind, and Body.

    Sam recognizes change starts with little steps and by taking these steps in faith, he believes we can
    change the food industry, In Good Faith.
